Well, not quite. I brought this camera to Quiapo to get it fixed and cleaned and ready for proper use. Hopefully by next week, it’s good to go!

My want to get it fixed has partial hipster motives. Firstly, I want to revive it and put it to use, rather than have such a beautiful machine rot in the dusty corners of my cabinet. Secondly is that people nowadays are so into DSLRs, and they don’t know how to use it. Basic settings, adjustments, the works. A lot of them have semi-professional DSLRs, and the only thing they use it for is point and shoot, and a little bit of “so-called photography”. I’m just being a tad bitter, is all. They’ve got all that money to waste on a machine and not bother to study its manual.

Anyway, using an old SLR… This is for me, the ultimate test of my photography skills. Hopefully, I’ll take even more beautiful pictures with this :)
