For everyone's benefit: "I call this one Blue Steel."

I kind of assaulted the print shop’s boss with reprimands today, when I got something printed. Their printers make the image oversaturated, and they’re not doing anything about it. I rarely get stuff printed there, but I decided what the heck, I’ll give it a go. Maybe they’ve reset their printers’ colors. (The last time I’ve gotten anything printed there was about a year ago)
I was surprised that the quality of their inks have not changed. At first I asked the boss really calmly, “Look at that (I said, pointing to the picture they’ve already printed), isn’t that color different than the one in your monitor?”
And he said, “Yes.”
FUUUUUU.
I retorted, “The color of the image in your monitor is the same with my monitor. So it’s your printer that’s got a problem.”
He replied, “We can’t fix that, because it’s got default settings.”
I was starting to get annoyed, “No, you could adjust those settings and print some tests out to see if the colors match.”
He suggested calmly, “Well, have you tried other print shops? I bet they’re the same.”
“No, their printers follow the same color as the original image. And those are ordinary printers that they’re using.”
“Why don’t you get them printed there, then?”
“Because they’re not print shops, they’re computer shops!” I was annoyed then, but I didn’t raise my voice or anything. “I went here because this is a print shop, and that’s what you do. You could live with that? Telling everyone that this is a print shop, and you don’t even produce the quality of work that you’re supposed to have?”
And he really just shut up then. I still got it printed there, because I was too tired to go anywhere else.
So if you’re around Manila, I don’t recommend that you get things printed at NITZ.
